About Chris Batha

Chris Batha is acknowledged to be one of the highest qualified and most experienced shooting instructors and gun fitters in the world today with over thirty years’ experience in wing and driven game shooting as well as all aspects of clay shooting.

A passionate competitor and game shot, he has worked and shot with many of the finest shots and instructors in Europe and the USA. During his career, he has studied the differences in techniques and mechanics the separate the average shots from the great shots.

Starting in the early 1980s, he began his coaching journey that has resulted in the development of the simple shooting technique that works equally well for the competitive clay shooter and the driven game shooter – the “Fault-Cause Correction” formula that teaches the student to eventually become their own coach.

When they miss, they learn to recognize the “Fault”, determine the “Cause” and apply the “Correction”, turning a miss into a hit.

He has followed his desire to pass on this instruction to shooters of all ages and abilities through books, magazine articles, coaching DVDs, online coaching tips and TV shows.

Today he travels extensively, offering his innovative instruction and cutting edge training techniques on the finest shooting grounds and best sporting estates in Europe, South America and the USA.
